For those who enjoy tent camping or traveling by RV, the Oak Bottom Marina campground in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a wonderful location to stay while enjoying the lake.

Per National Park Service, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area policy, campers are allowed to stay a maximum of 30 days between September 16 and May 15. Campers visiting in the summer season from May 16 to September 15 may stay for a maximum of 14 days. Annual maximum stay is 30 days.
All vehicles must display a valid National Park Pass. Please note that the National Park Service, Whiskeytown Lake has increased its parking fee. Entrance to the park is now $20 good for a seven day visit and an annual pass is available for $40.
Campers are allowed to park one car per campsite on the campground road and must walk to access their sites on foot.
All RVs and camping trailers are required to stay in the RV parking area.
Check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm. All dates are considered guaranteed and no refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures. Guests who fail to arrive before 12:00pm on the day after their arrival date will be considered a no show. Unless proper notification was received , the site will be forfeited without refund. No more than two tents and six people are allowed per site.
Pets are welcome at the campground for a $2.00 per pet, per day fee. For the safety of all campers, dogs are required to be on a leash no longer than six feet in length at all times. Unattended pets will result in a $125 citation.
We are a family campground. Children under 18 need to be with a guardian at all times. Quiet time is enforced from 10:00pm through 6:00am by on-site security.
A dump station is located between the campground store and boat launch.
