Oak Bottom Marina Campground

For those who enjoy camping and traveling by RV, the Oak Bottom Marina campground in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a wonderful location to stay while enjoying the lake.

There are 98 walk-in tent sites and 22 dry-camping RV sites, all within walking distance of the lake and swim beach. The campground has a dump station, restrooms, in-season snack bar, swim beach and access to the boat ramp.

Summer Season Rates:

Tent site: $20/night

Water-front Tent site: $22/night

RV site: $18/night

Off Season Rates:

All tent sites: $10

RV site: $10

Check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm. All dates are considered guaranteed and no refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures. Guests who fail to arrive before 12:00pm on the day after their arrival date will be considered a no show. Unless proper notification was received , the site will be forfeited without refund. No more than two tents and six people are allowed per site.

All vehicles must display a valid National Park Pass. $5 daily or $10 weekly passes may be purchased in the parking lot of the Campground Store. This fee is not included in the price of your campsite.

Pets are welcome at the campground for a $2.00 per pet, per day fee. For the safety of all campers, dogs are required to be on a leash no longer than six feet in length at all times. Unattended pets will result in a $75 citation.

We are a family campground. Children under 18 need to be with a guardian at all times. Quiet time is enforced from 10:00pm through 6:00am by on-site security. No barbecuing is allowed on rental boats.
